Do you like what you see? Got a creative spark in yourself? Then you are in luck my friend, because I am going to show you how to do this yourself!!!
Go ahead and open up a finder window and press CMD-Shift-G and type in /System/library/coreservices In this folder you will find a jpg called DefaultDeskop.jpg and all you need to do is simply replace it with your own. Of course you will want to back this up, copy it somewhere safe in case you need it again. Another method is described HERE if you don’t want to replace the original file and you don’t mind using your terminal.
OK, so now I am assuming that you would like to change the apple logo as well right? Well that link you just clicked on in the previous paragraph explains that too
HERE it is again
It is also explained here saying pretty much the same things.
But what about changing the apple logo for the About This Mac? Ha, once again, that is explained here.
Now I want you to not that HERE and here represent 2 differeny websites. The first one is http://osxdaily.com/2007/02/22/customize-the-mac-os-x-login-screen/ and the second one is http://www.breakingrobots.net/blog/2004/08/10.html
Now finally you may want to add some text to your login screen as I have, well this can be accomplished a few different ways and it really depends whether or not you have Apple’s Developer Tools or not. This is a way to do it with Text Edit. Similarly if you have Apple’s Developers Tools you will you just change the text in the right string.

how do you be so cool!? <3
